Save the Date for Urban Mobility Days 2023 taking place from 4-6 October in Seville, Spain.

Every year, from 16 - 22 September, the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility invites towns and cities from across Europe, and beyond, to participate in the EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK.

During the week, almost 3,000 towns and cities encourage behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport and other clean, intelligent transport solutions by organising awareness-raising activities and events with local stakeholders.

The 2023 World Sustainable Energy Days conference is being held between the 28th of February until the 3rd of March in Wels, Austria. This years focus is on Energy Transition = Energy Security and is hosted by the OÖ Energiesparverband.

This years’ Gaia-X Summit,  concludes the 2022 adoption year, with the Association revealing its latest developments surrounding the Gaia-X Framework, its specifications and SW software, allowing users and providers  to share a data space infrastructure ecosystem defined by the key components of compliance, federation and data exchange and how these are related to trust, openness, transparency, and alliance with EU values

Mobility in the urban and maritime domains hugely impacts the global economy, generating data at high rates from an increasing number of moving objects. Management of the complete lifecycle of such data implies that trustworthy and privacy-preserving infrastructures need to be put in place, so that reliable and secure data operations can be provided. Meanwhile, the mobility data exploitation still has a wide potential due to the emerging applications and the environmental footprint caused by mobility.
