Mission

MobiSpaces and GLACIATION share a strong commitment to enabling secure, efficient, and sustainable data sharing across European data spaces.

The GLACIATION project focuses on designing and implementing cloud and edge computing technologies that support green and trustworthy data processing. By improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of data services, GLACIATION empowers organisations to meet the growing demand for data while supporting Europe’s climate goals.

MobiSpaces and GLACIATION have actively collaborated to promote cross-domain knowledge exchange. GLACIATION participated in the MobiSpaces Impact Event, contributing valuable insights on energy-efficient, trusted infrastructures for mobility data spaces. Additionally, both projects joined forces in a joint session at Data Week 2023 in Luleå, co-organised with TANGO, TEADAL, and TRUSTEE, where they explored the future of secure and sustainable data spaces across sectors.

These collaborations highlight the shared vision of creating data spaces that are not only interoperable and secure but also environmentally responsible and aligned with Europe’s green transition.
